You're lacking the notion of what's "expensive" in this game. It isn't all about the physical wad of bills or digital money spent that's making it expensive, it's the RELATIVE PROPORTION of time and effort in relation to in-game rewards. Sure, you can build decks that are expensive, and slap 🔥ous backrows you got last year, it's not that expensive anymore, because you already strived for it

Your argument is invalid, becaue it's not based in facts.
Let' say a random dude creates a new account and plays around 1 hour, the guy receives over 2k gems as present for GX release, 500 gems as a present for the last box, after playing the first duels the game gives you 100-150-200 gems for just completing easy and quick missions.
Duel school training gives you more than 1k gems.

Again, the money is only a SECOND FACTOR. It is always the TIME WHICH IS THE ISSUE. What if you cannot optimally build it properly in one month? Can you buy time?
