I would recommend trying to build from scratch. Everyone's experience on the ladder is different, so the choices made in building the deck in past could be inadequate for your ladder climb. Just leave the core and build up to match what you've faced so far.

Archfiend just does not work in the current meta.
I have all the necessary cards x3 and I've tested all kinds of variants, from standard trap build to OTK build.

I wouldn't expect it to get to KOG, but it could make Legend if it's good enough for Platinum. Fur Hire players should be a bit less frequent in Platinum right now, so it's worth a shot.

You were the only one.
Statistically, even one dark magician deck will KoG. Doesn't mean it's good enough to be meta. There is also the factor of matching luck, opponent bricking luck, turn draw luck, etc.

Well i have x3 emperor, empress and even x3 kuriboh but ye too much bricks. I hope to stand legend at least with this deck. I dont like the meta decks and i spent a lot of gems on archfiends to have all cards

3x empress
3x lyla
2x chaos hunter
1x inavader of darkness
3x call of archfiend
3x roar
2x needlebug

Personally think that need a lot of effort for rank up with archfiends after restart nerf....

The pnly trouble vs fur hire is they go first and begin with wizz.. you need 2 revival cards for bait. Dyna is easly disrupted in next turn ( for effect or for battle)

In case, dyna is a pain turn 1 when he banish all fiends to revival when u get roar, so u taking otk anyway turn 2 without sk/monster on field
