But are there any decks in particular that have a great synchronicity with this card? Would it work in my amazon deck

It works in Amazon deck, it works in pretty much ANY deck, period. This card is that generic.

The best synergy is any deck that heavily uses spell counters. Endymion comes to mind, and Blue Magician is a must in any spell counter deck.
