What's the problem? This way they can make MORE money, they will solve the player complaints about battery life and so on, the online duels are cross platform, the data sync is cross platform. People like to complaint even when they make good moves, stop playing and go play other game.
There's no problem, it just sucks that's there's no platform just to play the game without spending tons of cash. To be honest, I think this really wouldn't hurt Konami's business as most people on there are playing in real life too.

The problem is not in Business stuffs from Konami or anything.
The problem is that you see YGOPRO as a real game while it's just a simulator, that being said, YGOPRO is not a game, it's mostly a simulator to test cards and buy them in real life, but they gave it some options to allow people play on it as if it's a real game while it is not, if you gave duelists all cards then it wouldn't be game
