5d's starting characters is insane. but shame they prefer irrelevant character like Tetsu instead Divine and Dark Signer Kiryu instead the Crash Town

Tetsu is more relevant than divine, tetsu was the first opponent we saw on all the series, divine didn't got his own arc (but i think he would be in the game anyway). and kiryu, both versions are good, but crash town version probably gonna be in the game too in the future.

If i'm not wrong, Tetsu never win any duel in the series. That's why i considering him irrelevant character. Both Dark Signer and Crash Town Kiryu use the same deck, so i doubt they will add 2 Kiryu

Kiryu dark signer ace: Hundred eyes dragon
Kiryu crash town: Infernity death dragon

Saying "both kiryu are the same" is basically saying "why we have atem and yugi in the same game if basically both uses darl magician?"

they should add all of the dark signers so you can unlock all of the earthbound immortals and also they should add in the legendary dragons and the seal of oricalcos because that would be awesome add dartz as a playale character and able to use the great leviathin as a card it would be awesome

Yugi uses various archetype. Meanwhile, Kiryu deck has no significant change besides ace card

Yugi no uses various archetypes ._. it's not his fault today every single monster in his deck have an archetype, but those years they were random monster.

Technically, Mokuba & Paradox never win any duel but still got released.

Even a relevant character like Rex lost all his duel shown in the series;
regional finals : Weevil
duelist kingdom : Joey
battle city : Espa Roba
Waking the dragons : that old guy & Joey
KC championship : Ziegfried

Atleast tetsu tried and have one of the best synchros (before errata) ever made, it was even banned time ago hahahaha

Don't forget Ancient Fairy Dragon is so powerful when combined with the right cards, that she is currently Forbidden in both TCG and OCG.

AFD existing in DL practically means DL will not going to get those cards that combos well with her to form an OTK/FTK.

Wtf with ancient fairy?, dude she was banned because field spells like abc, spyrals. we don't have that 🔥, we don't xyz nor links to abuse her, she was free for 10 years until this years, and no one used it, not because a card is banned in tcg makes it op in duel links, looks cyberstein hahaha

Read again, my point was that it means we'll never gonna get those cards that can abuse her effect, since AFD is never going to get banned in DL due to Ruka always existing even as newer worlds comes in.

Actually, one of the biggest complain about Arc-V era was that it is way too easy to spam Extra Deck summons.

Hence Links limiting it.

It's actually a good thing because that was what people wanted.

Vrains made the spam worse, actually. Yeah, it made spamming Fusion, Synchro and Xyz monsters much harder. But the way they built the Vrains archetypes, EVERYTHING gives you more resources to build more Links now. You can end on a full board of Extra Deck monsters and still have a bunch of cards in hand/backrows set.

That's the thing. Komoney just replaces Fusion/Synchro/Xyz spam with Link spam.

Wouldn't have happened if they have common sense and not introduce the co-linked and Extra Link mechanic......

Yeah, link spam are just as bad as other extra deck spam, especially knightmare. Those things should never exist in the first place.

It was so broken they have to limit it before Vrains season 1 even ended, preventing the anime from promoting the so-called ace of Yusaku in every duel.

It's been almost a year since I last follow up on Yugioh TCG/OCG. I planned to rest for a while from the complicated Yugioh game and started playing Duel links instead.

Now I just rechecked the banlist after seeing the comments above, my god I'm surprised.

The feeling is almost same like I went on vacation to another planet and came back to see the earth has been turn into a war zone.
