Yea i meant this fusion monster lol. I'm trying to create a deck for when they do add this card. I know frontline base is a useful card and machina peacekeeper (to add a union monster to your hand.) But i wonder if fusion tag would really let you summon this card as i know some card effects won't work unless it's the o.g printed

Not vard effects but some can't be summoned unless it's the original without the "changing of the name"

You indeed can use 2 Fusion Tag to let 2 random monsters copy VW and XYZ name, then use those 2 monsters to summon VWXYZ.

You can't do the same with ABC because it specifically asks for original names, but VWXYZ does not ask that.

hey dude so did it work with Fusion Tag? I summoned VWXYZ with it a while back but I wonder if it will work with this Armored Catapult Dragon thing

Fusion tag doesn't work directly. You can technically change the name to VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon but this card also has a restriction that VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon has to be special summoned first.

But you can use fusion tag for the summoning of VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon.

Probably because it uses the ocg card effect, which works differently than tcg
