In case you haven't noticed, going second = better win rate, card advantage + can atk first. In theory, beginer has 4 cards, 2nd has 5, he needs to destroy 4 of opponent, and otk with his fifth.
Kinda blows when you use decks like this to farm 120 wins per season at rank Silver, where what's actually good in the meta doesn't matter. Sure, you miss out on gems, but since Duel Links is pay-to-win, you don't need gems as much as a fat pocketbook anyway.
This deck just came out, so no one can say if it’s meta or not until we see actual usage numbers. Also I agree, going second is usually more advantageous in DL even if our deck size is only 20. In the TCG, going first is considered “broken” due to said player setting up boards that actually prevent their opponent from actually playing Yugioh.
