Ehmm... that was exactly how konami worked all these years since tcg. Spend money on pack ultra rares. See them after some time being reprint as common/rare on future packs, special promo editions, structure decks etc..

They teach those lowly F2P that they should stop relying on cards they already own and buy all cards as soon as possible.

This allowed you to play 3 Spirit before most other players.
Be proud of it, because now you will have a total of 5 Spirit. Since you already have 3, the odds of the next Spirit being glossy/prismatic is higher.
