So that strategy takes an enormous amount of time to pull off, having to sacrifice the Grandmaster over and over to fuel the 5x boosts. You can easily get max event points with one of the other strategies though, faster and more efficiently. This max damage build is just for bragging rights, only barely a viable strategy for farming the event.

So far, those builds are pretty consistent. As for farming, we don't need to boost the ATK to max, around 300k is enough.
