What is forbidden/limited card?

Forbidden cards are essentially "banned" cards, while limited simply means that you can only put 1 in a deck, semi-limited is up to two in your deck only. Some cards in the OCG/TCG are either forbidden, or limited, and this is due to their ability to create an unbalanced experience for the game.

Ruling

Unlike in the TCG/OCG where you can have multiple limited cards with different names in your deck, in Duel Links you can only have a total of 1 limited card in your deck. For example you have limited card A and limited card B, and you already put 1 card A in your deck, you cannot add card B to your deck even if they are not cards of the same name.
This rule is also true for semi-limited cards in which you can only have a total of 2 semi-limited cards in your deck.

The fate nerf is cool because treacherous trap hole + fate was too much to handle

again f2p players are nerfed why not masked heros or vamps or silent magician

It's easier than playing against other top tier tbh.

Waiting them to finish their play is kinda annoying though.

Seriously? Fate? Not Masked Change/Anki. Not Vampire. But Fate??

This banlist is odd.

They pay to win... Lol

Thats true. Im f2p and this banlist was a hard hit to my deck... but, in my climb to kog this season, i was becoming kind with p2w ppl because they pay for a deck and many of them only pay-to-play, no pay-to-win.

As long as said "everything" can dominate the metagame, anyway. Most whales are being a whale for competitive reason.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Even without a banlist, no card is going to be relevant forever. I feel like anyone that buys cards either knows what they're getting is eventually not going to be worth using anymore, and those that buy them super-late and close to when they get hit simply don't care and want the best possible deck at that moment in time.

It's fake. This obviously doesn't mean that those cards are not going to be implemented in the next banlist, but that image in particular is fake.

WTF dude
Do you guys read the comments(?), every freaking day it's the same: "konami is trying to sell this, komoney this, komoney that, oh yeah they are greedy b*stards, everything is expensive".

DUDE SERIOUSLY THE AMOUNT OF DECEPTION IS EXCESSIVE, I didn't believe it at first, but now I truly think some greedy folks want to boycott just to get rid of a competitor. Thanks to last Espa roba's event I've farmed plenty of gems and event the most expensive of all decks cost you 3$, how do you say it's expensive? anyway, I guess it's just pointless to talk to malicious folks.

Yeah, people who doesn't think Konami deserves to be called "Komoney", clearly never touch the real life game.

As an example, literally everyone is very sure that the common Ash Blossom in OCG Soulburner deck will be replaced with something trash in TCG, while Ash Blossom itself is shortprinted in a random content box for TCG.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
OCG reprints a very important handtrap as a Common rarity in a structure deck

TCG will definitely reprint it as a shortprint (meaning it's extremely low in quantity regardless of rarity) in a random content box instead, possibly in another Secret Rare rarity. Good luck buying lots of boxes for a copy.

That's why TCG players often call Konami as "Komoney".

My problem with these people is that Duel Links is probably the only gacha game that is kind of "fair" with how they get cards. Like take 🔥 like Dokkan for example and compare it to this, what do you think would push you over to P2P quicker.

While I don't really care all that much about what Konami limits or not. Fact is, they limit only easy to acquire f2p deck cards (Vyon exception, still less than 8-9 bucks + 500gems for 3 copies guaranteed, low spend), and all the rest of the cards are admist 80 box or N/R, and drops. Konami listens well to their P2W community, in the sens they only want expensive decks that a f2p can't repetively create. Yes, you can farm gems and make any deck you want, but by that time meta would evolve, and f2p can't repetively compete without small box op archetypes. But Konami keeps limiting them. I am sure more small box op archetype will be availlable in the future for f2p base. But if Konami would listen to f2p community, they would limit archetypes like silent magician, ua, vampire, masked hero, or pretty much a lot of the ur/sr in 200 boxes that is flooding the kog ladder. But those bring out a lot of money, so they won't. It makes sens from a business perspective, but I just wish they wouldn't call this balancing ranked.

Take some more salt. I also play FH and Amazon, but they are still decent and those other decks you mentioned are easy to counter. Just focus on the best trap cards first then the rest of your decks.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
the problem as they state every ban list is the overwhelming number of players using them, (whether they win or not), it being f2p makes it open to all players so it gets over used. im guessing they are looking for a ratio less than 3/5 duels being similar decks as
