What's the point of getting Silver Rank 2?

I didn't receive any reward after Silver Rank 1, and even at the help info, it state that no reward after Silver Rank 1. Then what's the point of getting higher rank? And, I think the reward is once a lifetime and you will stay permanently at Silver Rank 1 once you reach the rank even after the season.

U still get gems once reach gold and platinum, also u get icon to show off
