Another tip: try to have repeats of cards. Personally I include two of every card that I find useful. Attached is an example of a deck that illustrates all the points I mentioned:

Just some general tips:

1) Keep your deck to around 20 cards.
2) Have no more than 1-2 high-level monsters.
3) If you have high-level monsters, think about how to use your deck to summon them quickly. For example, you might include cards like Stray Lambs or Bubonic Vermin that are commonly used to summon high-level monsters.
3) Build your deck around 1 or 2 cards. Some of the most powerful decks, as of this writing, include Mai Valentine's Harpie's Hunting Ground deck, which consists of Harpie Lady and Winged Beast monsters; also, Mako's Mythic Depths, built around Daedulus, is another high-powered deck.
4) Play around with it and have fun!
