Those cards besides arguably UP are garbage lol. The best counter to Neo-Daed is killing them before they get it off since it's a dead card 95% of the time for them. Its a 3 card combo with 3SD and 4 card combo with any other skill, so it's not very hard to prevent at all. Even if they do manage to summon it, you can Order to Charge to Econ tribute take it to delay its effect

Divine wrath is a great card. It single handedly shuts down any any kaibaman or rel decks and most other meta decks run at least one effect monster. It's a solid card to have at least one copy of.

Because they're fantastic cards!Either way DW isn't the worst card in the game but isn't worth using because of the discard effect. Better off running cards that are less situational. IDK man just seems like you love some garbage cards when you suggest Overwhelm and Prime material falcon LOL
why do people can't compare cards apple apple.in terms of countering monster effects, divine wrath is much better than ultimate providence. using dw let you discard any types of card, but if you're using up and no monster in your hand, you're dead. also, you need normal monster for otc, still more situasional than dw.
dw are less popular because people need efficiency in countering spell/trap, not just monster effects, and up will be more efficient than dw for that purpose. but dw is still the best trap for countering monster effects in any situation.
