If Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon didn't exist, I'd legitimately agree that this is one of the best Duel Links formats we've had so far. (I'm not super-stoked Koa'ki Meiru is a thing, either, but eh.)
But it does exist. And is a big problem. And will continue being a big problem for a long time because Konami obviously isn't going to do a damn thing about it for months.
Dragon, Ice and Wall to 2, that would balance them because they can only put 1 ice or 1 wall or 2 maximus. without wall they won't have a way to deal with buster blader, and without ice they wont have an easy way to deal with AG.Last gamble, grit and balance versions will drop in popularity and tie that binds will be prefered over those and Cosmic cyclone will replace Hey Trunade.
But even if they just put Dragon to 2, then at least canadia will stop their otk because Trunade can't be used. So even with that small change the deck can be balaced in a way.
Honestly guys, I user to be a koaki hater aswell but once you know how the deck works its not that hard to deal with. I was really pissed of by koaki at 1st, but i made a few tweeks in my own deck to deal with them. Result : on my way to dlvl max, i faced 4 koaki i won 3 and lost 1. My last game was against a koaki where i had to deal with 3 maximus. Koaki is not op if you know how to counter it.
Also fyi i play AG, People used to say the same thing about AG and other meta decks such as vampires when they came out,but now there are multiple counters to them.
