Two questions:
Why even though I have multiple Parshath in the deck, sometimes I’m not asked to special summon. Is there a timing I’m missing? Does negating in the damage step prevent the summon?
Also, I’ve negated my own monster’s effect (Ryko) to special summon a parshath before, however I just negated my own spell (Cards From The Sky) and I didn’t get prompted to special summon. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
Did you already successfully resolve a Cards from the Sky that turn? That prevents you Special Summoning.
Probably not relevant to the scenarios you mentioned, but worth noting it has to be able to shuffle the card back to Summon something, so if it was a card like Sphere Kuriboh or Bacon Saver that isn't in the location it activated from, you can't Summon.
i have the same problem. not just that but sometimes if theres too many chain reactions with all by counter monsters effects going off at once. some just simply get skipped and dont activate its frustrating and i think its a bug
I have re-read "missing the timing" twice but sadly still don't fully comprehend. Can any kind-soul who understands help with an example please? i.e., what part of the timing is missed when enemy flip effect or Sphere Kuribo is countered then special summon does not happen? Many thanks!!
you need to have a counter "trap" card in hard for the rebirth of pershath to activate. Basically it needs a trap card as to send to graveyard for to effect....
Sphere Kuriboh is the Monster Effect which gets countered. There is another counter trap card in my hand and the type and I was allowed to activate Rebirth of Pershath. The Sphere Kuriboh effect was successfully countered. Yet no option to special summon. Is it because the Kuriboh is in the Graveyard at that time? Why is that a "missing of timing"?
If a card is activated from the hand and gets countered you don't get to special summon because the card in the hand and the card in the grave are considered different entities. I know it makes little sense but that's how the game rules it.
Im also wondering if it doesnt work on flip effexts because they were already destroyed by battle and cant be sent to the deck. Odd that this is how the game is ruling it.
When you attack a monster that has a flip effect with high attack, the monster will activate it's flip effect, then it will get destroyed( if you negated it's effect using"Rebirth of parshath" you will be unable to special summon, and it's because the negated monster left the field to the GY!!
The card effect that you negated should stay in its place( the place where the activation occurred )!!
