Which is funny because as far as I can remember in the anime, Hassleberry didn't even remember anything about his time as a dinosaur spirit alongside Neos.

It's possible he just doesn't believe it happened and played it off.

It's also possible that, since Duel Links is a virtual simulation, that it just tapped into memories he didn't have access to "IRL".
