If you duel someone on the arena with a prismatic card from the CT, the best you can do is just surrender man. Duel Links is probably the only thing that sad-lonely dude has. Those prices can make you feel depressed, but not as depresed as you have to be to try to buy one single prismatic card. Damn.
I personally have enough for one Prismatic from CT...but JUST ONE. This cost range...is literally (and you can hate me fore saying this) Pay2Win because the shear amount of time & $$ it would take to even meet the cost of ONE Prisma (at least 3000 Rares from scratch) took me 7 months buying cards here and there & playing everyday. What the legitimate 🔥 Konami?
Honestly, I wish they add a price with actual money. The reason why I hate this so much is because it takes a INSANE amount of time. Let's say you get only 5 rare stones per day (which is still not easy). It would take you more than a god damn year to buy one of those. Konami 🔥ed it up. Badly.
It's just an option for those who has excess amount of jewels. At least those 3000 rare jewels will worth something, and prismatic or glossy doesn't affect your win ratio or gamebreaking at all. Please stop comments like "konami 🔥ed it up" like this is some kind of apocalypse for duel links.
Yea, I'd honestly much rather pay an extra $1 or $2 to Glossy then Prisma a card from CT. I mean, it would, no SHOULD, have been simple to use 1.5~2 the normal cost of getting the normal card to do a Glossy, then add like a certain requirement of Jewels to Prisma depending on Rarity
SR = [500 R, 5~10 SR, 1 UR, (some coin as well?)]
UR = [750~1000 R, 10 SR, 2~3 UR, (definitely some coins)]
That, imo, would be more obtainable than 3000 Rare Jewels that has an insane amount of Time and/or $$ needed to meet the requirement, which we haven't even mentioned the costs for the OTHER Jewel types needed (i.e. Attribute & S/T).
Which, misuer Passerby, I know some people are claiming Konami F'd it up, and they would be right, but don't talk like its easy to meet the cost of the feature.
Welp, you don't need to upgrade your cards mister daemon. Prismatic was supposed to be hard to obtain, if you can easily upgrade your cards to prismatic, then prismatic will lost its value. Maybe they just still testing and will lower the price in the future.
Yes, "Hard" to obtain, not be insane to pay up on. Didn't even remotely say it had to be easy so either you misreading me or putting words in the mouth, definitely don't appreciate the latter.
There are easy methods for farming rare orbs. At the moment I am fulfilling 3 challenges through farming level 10 at x3 modifier which also serves to get a character closer to the juicy bunch of gems for level up. Even level 10 pay some SR and UR but more often than not a quick 8 chest game will give about 5 rares to convert. And overrun events for the rares after the icon for completion.
