Paradox's new skill cured my headache. People should actually be thankful for this event. Just be careful not to tribute the thunder element if you have all preset monsters on the field. This will buy you several turns against econ before the riryoku field arrives.
I just started using this deck. Any comment is welcome.
He will if he has enough LP. But he knows your water element's effect. So try to lower his LP down below 2500 asap.But if he manages to take out more than one starting monsters early on, the only cards you have that accelerate tribute summoning are soul exchange and double summon... But there will also be a struggle to draw cards running this skill, so you kind of need a balance
Update: Changed the summon facilitating card to Big Wave Small Wave. Added Interdimensional Matter Transporter. The utility of the latter card can have three flavors: 1. Reanimate your starting monsters; 2. Counter Econ; 3. Save your already on-field Suijin from Big Wave Small Wave.
The only cards you need to worry about are Econ, DD Warrior and BEWD. Econ is countered by the traps or having >1 elements with effect on the field; DD Warrior and BEWD is countered by the effect of elements. Fulfill both conditions asap, then you just need to make sure he's outdrawn. The gate guardian is useless. Feel free to discard it.
This have a low win rate. You need two of them, suijin, kazegin ir sangan. Kaiba always destroyer one with a DD, and, even if got summon other suijin Kaiba Will destroyer tour kazegin with his BEWD ando GG. This deck workshop bit ir is so risky
Remember he only has one BEWD and it takes time to summon it. If you are extremely unlucky with card draw, you are practically dead with any deck. And it is way different than a one card in hand challenge - you know what deck your enemy is playing, plus you have monsters preset on the field.
This deck needs a storm in it, because Kaiba will not attack whatsoever if you have suijin banished via dimension gate's effect. This is a perma stall against Kaiba. He may summon blue-eyes, he didn't for me this time but you can then activate suijin's effect anyways.
Tribute doll is the backup plan. If he controls BEWD, he will definitely attack, for he doesn't realize elements regain their effect after being sent back to the field.
That said, I noticed there is already a build wall farming deck out there. Not sure if that works better.
