I manage to find some success with U.A. Neos, it's actually pretty fun and made the deck more consistent. It doesn't fully solve the bricking problem though.
Not sure if Exodia Neos may work. As you would need Exodia Incarnate to add pieces from your GY to hand & mill your own deck. But having 25 cards with Yugi's Skill, you may not draw the card you need at the right time. It depends on how you play it. I may run tests on Standard Duelists tomorrow
I just happen to have 3 Midfielder, I put 1 Amaryllis so I can normal summon Pefect Ace or Slugger after I use it for Neos Fusion. I don't use other U.A aside from Dunker and the other ones I mentioned since they're too slow. Manage to climb to Legends with it, but I don't recommend anyone to build this deck since it's wayy too expensive and struggling against Desperado and Dark Lords.
That's good. But with this deck, i would use heavy starter & switch out that lv 1 monster for maybe 2 Keeper of the dragons so you can add Neos Fusion to your hand. Isn't this kind of slow being you have 6 High lv monsters & we know in thus kind of deck, you would really need a good starting hand
Yeah, you really need to start with a Midfielder or Neos Fusion in your starting hand. You could even brick with them in your hand if you don't draw any support cards like Stadium. I'll try your suggestion.
The deck still shuffles even if Neos is in your hand when you fusion summon. And i would use Heavy Starter just in case you you do have Midfielder in your hand, plus a UA monster, you would be able to easily have a high attack monster on your first turn in any case your first hand becomes a bad draw. You got 3 of them so there's a possibility of one being in your hand at the start
Abd if with Heavy Starter, it's likely to have a High lv monster in your starting hand but again, it's all on luck to really have a good starting hand. There's Restart but at what cost to skip your next draw phase?
