When can we expect the sylvan nerfs?
Its just dropping cards consistently in the gy, erasing the full board and than killing with a flooded field of monsters.
In what way did they thought this would turn out balanced?
Sylvan lacks defense. If your opponent destroys your set monsters, then you don't have a chance to mill your deck for effects. Even worst, your opponent can otk you if that happens. Also, in a mirror match, who flip his monster first is usually the winner.
Then maybe its time to consider running something like Tribute to the Doomed or Divine Wrath or Memory Lost or Ultimate Providence to counter those cards then? As long as don't allow them to get the flip effect of their merchant or Kumoshroomo you are usually in a clear.
Sylvans aren’t as broken as everyone thinks. It focuses on clearing the field and ending it early by excavating komushroomos and marshalleafs to pop mons and back row but they have to get lucky (or run 2-3 magical merchants). Just learn what each of their effects do, adapt, and you should be fine. Or just run an even more meta deck like amazoness
Sylvan matchups usually mean free win for me as long as I go first or the opponent has no ultimate providence.
Sylvans are just too simple, powerful but simple.
Spellbooks destroy them easily
