they always introduce a new character, then give us an unlock event for an older one that most people already have lol. I don't really feel like farming for cards i already have ether :p. Nice for anyone that missed him though i guess? They should just add him to the gate

Fear Of Missing Out. If a game creates limited events that will only be available for a couple of weeks, and you didn´t participate, then it´s over. Those are gone forever and will never return. For the rest of the game´s life. Sucks to be you.

With that fear, you force players to play right here and now, or else they will never get to enjoy the related rewards. Specially painful for newcomers.

Precisely because of the reruns, FOMO ain´t that much of a problem...for the events. But yeah, like that guy has said, the exclusives from Selection Boxes are a huge FOMO slap across the face.

Look, it´s a game, and like any other, has both pros and cons. Not defending Konami, they do a LOT of things wrong and are beyond greedy. But limited events isn´t one of DL shortcomings.

FOMO is not exactly FOMO it's just a way to call them, it really means that those events take a lot to come back, in all other gacha games they come back in a span of 1 year or less, thing that konami does as well with selection boxes. How many months we had to wait until we got op cards like bom or fiendish (in its moment) in normal boxes?

Master duel wont 🔥 this game, not everyone like how mentally 🔥ed is the tcg with omni negates and cards wich draws you your entire deck. Dlinks will be fine.

It probably will, duel generations fans also gave arguments like you but applied to their game vs the new game: "not everyone would like a watered down version of yugioh". Look where's duel generations now

Im not saying no one will try the new games, but lot of you acting like every single soul will abandon the older ones, but its simply not true. Also duel generations was crap, dlinks is million times better even with konami's greedy tactics coz atleast we got updates and stuff. I still left generations when no other game was available it was so bad. Not a good comparison imo.

DL has easy 2-3 years ahead. But I think they can or will tune down the updates of this game and focus more on there newer games
