How is Ultimate Rising still a 9.5? there are maybe 2 good cards in it compared to the hundreds terrible ones. There are N cards in Echoes of Silence (Dark Blade) which beat the UR cards in Ultimate Rising (Axe Raider).

Yeah, Sphere Ebola is pretty much singlehandedly propping that box up. Even cards like OtC aren't as amazing as they used to be. And if that wasn't enough, the 2nd highest rated box is Flame of the Tyrant, and what exactly is good in that one? Electro and maybe Warm Worm for mill 🔥 decks?

These ratings suck.

Tbf tyrant drafon basically counters toon Kingdom, plus it's good v naturia and fire king as they struggle to get over its attack, and kidmodo makes it super easy to summon

Indeed, in my dragon deck, there is no BEWD. 3 Kidmodo and (only) 2 Tyrant is great.

TBH, I still don't understand how Tyrant Dragon doesn't negative Mirror Wall's effect target during the damage step since it single targets during the battle step.

Well Ultimate Rising while no longer deserve 9.5 rating, is still better than this pack. Other than Ebola, there's also some useful stuf in there like Sonic Bird, Mask of Accursed, OtC, Magic Arm Shield, Ladybug, Hane2, Dream Clown, W.Elephant Gift, E.Javelin, Nutrient Z, etc. Normal beater just doesn't cut it anymore in the current meta and no longer matter tbh

You guys seem to forget it has staples which can't get replaced!

It is not all about Sphere Kuriboh!

The real game of Yugioh has multiple types of Kuriboh's + other better hand traps.

Sphere Kuriboh will be replaced down the road by a superior card!

nah ultimate rising is no where near being significantly better than every other pack at this point. sphere kuriboh is hardly even good and there arent many cards from ultimate rising that are even used anymore

However, you can't replace staple cards such as Fusion Gate, E.Javelin, Nutrient Z, Wonder Balloons, Mask of Accursed, Secret pass to the Treasures!

People think Sphere Kuriboh, Order to Charge, White Elephant etc. are the solo reason the box is good!

The simple fact is those cards will mean jack when the game speeds up.

They will get over powered by stronger better cards.

The cards people use to "Farm" with are the ones which are the ideal staples which can't be replaced so easy!

Those are what make the box good.

It isn't Sonic Bird, White Elephant etc!

White Elephant sucks.

When the game releases Pot of Greed.

It will get replaced in a flash.

You can't find another Fusion Field spell for generic Fusion decks.

Konami released pot of greed in real life before to make money.

I'm telling you they will do it again to make more money.

The game releases a box.

They try to make the box have cards/decks in it which can be top tier.

This will cause some of the Pay 2 Play players to spend cash.

The better the cards on the more the P2P will go after it!

The cards in the box stay relevant in the meta for a while.
