Sprite will cause Light to miss her timing. It also needs to remain on the field to return the monster to the field.

Who cares if Light remains banished? You got Rewind for that. Plus, I'm fine if Light's gone, so long as I can sync with her sisters.

Fortune Lady Light's effect will not activate if it's banished to Summon D.D. Sprite, but it's not because it misses the timing or anything. Banishing a monster to Summon D.D. Sprite is a Summoning condition, not a card effect.
