Boring, but Practical.

Some people only care about getting to KOG, even if they have to use boring deck. That's just how it is.

Honestly all this could be changed if Skills where not allowed...

at certain ranks, without out skills meta will be limited to just some decks and even if you end up getting one of those decks one card can change the whole deck consistency, as a result not everyone will have the same cards and as a result same outcome

Nobody forces you to play "good" decks. You can throw 20 different cards together into one deck if you want to. But it won't be a good deck.

Only gets worse as Duel Links shifts to toolbox decks. You need to buy all the extra deck cards just like staples.
