No, having x3 Navigation and x3 Circle is mandatory. It's not because you were too lazy to get your 2nd and 3rd that you should encourage others to be as lazy as you.
With 3x Circle, 3x Navigation, 3x Rod and 3x DM you almost never brick. But even with 10 or 11 out of those 12 cards, you'll get a decent deck. But the consistency drop is quite bad.
Most players use S/T destroyer or remover due the current meta. Only using a single naviagation would end the match instantly once your navigation removed.
Personally i use 9 of these cards to dealt with the current meta.
