Why is Ptera a good card?
It sends back...uuu..but bad stats gets destroyed pretty much every time...so its not a 1 for 1
He gets his back.
Rather play hydro for more agressiv (over guaiba, cause it can attack right away)and powerful rebirth for stauriko (damn all this token...and you get to spam Herra this way) and michizure works well with stauriko
petra gets destroyed but since it was in defense you get to special summon hera and go all in next turn. if their big monster attacks petra it gets sent back to hand its super good defense for that reason
blue eyes attacked my petra and got sent back to hand then i got to summon herra and destroy them next turn
Many players special summon big monsters by using other monsters or spell/cards effects. Jurrac Ptera are great to burn out those summoning resources, and if you are lucky enough to have a Herra by that time, you will have a powerful monster in your field which cost was returning a monster to your opponent’s hand :)
