How do you deal with fur hire that starts first.

How to keep your spellcaster alive when you face a turn 1 swarm that can even use monster destruction effects on top.
Haha it's pretty nasty going second when going against fur hire deck.
In case of keeping ur spellcaster alive, I highly suggest u include Tricky in ur deck. Having Tricky allows u to have two spellcasters in one turn. So if one of them is destroyed, fate can still pretty much be used. Tricky with SB of power can definitely help u take down Wiz's 2800DEF & Dyna's 2500ATK.
Apparently nothing much can actually be done when going against fur hire especially when ur going second in our current meta.
Card that may able to counter a fully swarmed fur hire would be Gandora monster's effect. Gandora banishes all cards on the field, even rendering Mayhem spell card useless. But ofc it's not easy to summon gandora in one turn unless if u use mausoleum of the emperor.
And they cant have chalice to use on gandora
or cyclone or something that can destroy mausoleum
And you need to be ready for new summons that destroy monsters after your access denied wears off to stop them from killing gandora.
Because you wont drop their 5k life in a couple of turns :P
There is definitely a way to win against FH, even going 2nd as SB. But you can't rely on Spellbook Magician to defend you, so you should get some stronger monsters to defend yourself. Wiz, when boosted by Ties should only have 1900 ATK. (Dyna is tougher... but 1 step at a time.)
Don't defend yourself with just 1 S/T. Try to use 2 S/T at once, like WoD, then chaining Fate to Wiz to banish her.
This is probably most critical: don't let FH drop below 2 monsters! No matter how tempting that Beat or Wiz in atk position look, resist the urge to attack, because next turn FH can summon Donpa and then combo it to destroy your monster. The only exception is to kill Donpa first-- since you absolutely don't want his effect to trigger. Only attack when you can clear the field and set up Fate.
The trick is to keep the FH's zone clogged with monster (except Donpa-- always kill Donpa first, because they could still tribute summon Wiz THEN special summon another to activate Donpa), and try to have strong monsters defending you. Try to use more than just Fate too. You won't win if all you've got is Fate. If you can pull off WoD after baiting Wiz into negating something else...
I know it sounds a bit strange but wall of D maybe good against furhire turn 1 when you grab it if they don't have Wiz that is or Treacherous Trap hole then you can fate the last one. There is some way to play around it. Fool is also good as it could swarm back with reaper swarm effect and could easily get over some of the big level furry. If not you have power.
The weakness of wiz is her cost. Play around their hand size and burn expendable spellbooks until you're reasonably certain that you can get away with your main plays. Like, play power or master. If they go through, good! But if they don't, more fuel for fate and you can recycle with eternity. Just play around their hand size my boi
