I think making Red-Eyes available for everyone was not a good thing. Just like now with the Cyber Angels. Within a week everyone and their 10 year old cousin is playing the same damn deck. What a bore. this is just a game. The fun comes when you play 10 different duels against 10 different decks, and have 10 decks of your own that are competitive.
Call of the Mummy definitely has potential to be a meta card, and Ryu-Kokki is decent enough (especially if we get Pyramid Turtle at some point). Monster Rebone might have some utility at some point too. Great rewards? No, but I wouldn't call them "trash" either.
I agree about variety.I started this game a week ago,made it to gold ranks,and I'm already bored of seeing the same prefabricated tryhard decks,requiring nothing but following the same formula every single time.Probably even less variety at higher ranks?I try to have fun with my tool mishmash deck,but the cocky tryhards trashtalking with their mindless copypaste playstyles make it not so fun.
