Hi, I`m new to this game and I don't understand all yet. I summoned Blue eyes white Dragon with this card but it only had 200 attack and defence. Any idea why? It happened three times already.
Hi, thanks for The response.
I have already figured out that I was in fact using Hieratic Dragon's special ability instead. But can you use this ability and then dragons reborn? Because I recently used it on Hieratic Dragon, it was banished, I summoned some Dragon with 0 attack and defence but didn't see any option to summon any other dragon. Thanks anyway.
Did you have any other dragons in your hand or grave after you summoned the 0 ATK dragon? For example, if you have no cards in grave and a sole Blue Eyes in hand, and you use Dragon's Rebirth on Nuit... but end up summoning your Blue Eye with Nuit's effect, that would prevent Dragon's Rebirth from working, since you have no more dragon cards in hand or grave.
Some dragons can't be special summoned too. For example, Felgrand Dragon can't be special summoned unless it went to the graveyard while it was on the field (discarding it straight from the hand won't work either).
Hi, I'm not so sure now, but I think I wanted to summon Blue eyes from my hand and summoned Hunter dragon from the graveyard with Nuits effect. But it could be the Felgrand Dragon I was having in my hand, I'm not so sure now. I'll try using this card on Hieratic Dragon and see what happens.
Strange indeed. But either way, the effect of Dragon's Rebirth is definitely supposed take place after you resolve Nuit's effect. Let us know how it goes next time, and take note of the cards you had (or post your deck so we can try to figure it out).
Btw, there are more than one Hieratic Dragons, so you might want to be specific when referring to them. (That's why we call it Nuit.) You can find more Hieratic Dragon cards in the Valiant Souls box.
Hi, I had this situation in a duel and everything was fine. Thanks for help. I didn't know what there are more Hieratic Dragons, thanks for letting me know. Btw, do you know some strategies based on dragons? Because my deck is rather not good and I don't know what packs I should be buying. I recently got Kaibaman and it's quite good card, should I get more blue-eyes dragons and Kaibamans?
Just so you know Hieratic Dragon always goes first. A way to remember is if you see the chain on the side of your screen. A deck I am currently using in low elo is attached. Basically the goal is for you to summon as many blue eyes as possible. This deck has a lot of counters and strength, however, it is very prone to spells and traps.
Hi, I'm currently running a similar deck I'm doing quite good. Maybe try to get some counter trap cards like champions vigilance, seven tools of the bandit, ultimate providence or trap jammer, because it's really easy to get the Blue eyes destroyed with a trap or spell.
Btw how often do you manage to summon Ultimate Dragon? I don't know if this card is very good, it's very easy to destroy and doesn't have any effects. I am asking because I don't know if should try to get it.
You shouldn't bother trying to get Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon unless you have a LOT of spare gems... Like you said, for all the effort you put summoning it, it can still be easily destroyed, or worse, stolen with an Enemy Controller! The best high Lv dragon I can recommend is White Night Dragon. It's not perfect, but at least it is immune to some annoying cards and can still be easily summoned.
Yeah I was destroyed by it couple of times, it seems preety decent. Maybe I'll buy couple od Visions of Ice packs because I don't know what packs to buy now anyway.
