The fate of Aleister

I want to invest in a third Aleister the invoker, but I'm scared that they are going to hit it after kc since that is when they usually bring out the list. And the fact that they are having a structure deck sale makes me even more afraid that it will be soon. I know its a UR box card and people will say it is probably safe. But everything we thought was safe before turned out to be wrong and I'm scared now. What do you think? Is Aleister a safe to get a third copy of or shpuld I wait a little and see what happens first?

until to this day, konami never got a banlist on a ur card from box so...

if you are limiting/semi any UR/SR, you should give an alternative dream ticket.
They didn't with Trunade or Tracherous.

Konami never hits main box URs so the x3 Aleister and x2 Invocation investment is safe. If anything, the Invoked SRs and Rs may get limited.

People also used to say Konami never hit main box SR and EX deck SR either....until it actually happened.

But yeah, for Invoked, it's more likely they'll just directly hit Cocytus instead.

Part of me believes it might just be cocytus because it is R. But all it can usually take is 1 boosted cocytus to win a game once there are no monsters. So it sounds more logical for an effective nerf to hit Aleister I hate to say. Idk if this will be the time to hit box UR but it turned out nothing else was safe so I think I'll wait a little.

Until the ban list I think I'll probably just play it cool and settle for 2 Aleister in invoked magician girls deck.

I'm settling with 2 Aleister for now too.

But I think the possible nerf/limit in the future is sorcery conduit nerf, Cocytus and/or Concentrating Current might be semi-limited.

Or maybe it would be powercrept by newer cards.

My hunch is we are getting Quaking Mirror force in the upcoming 1 or 2 main box.

The new list came out. Aleister and Invocation are safe. But they put Cocytus to 1 and Magellanica to 2.
