if noone will buy ex structures, no money will go to programmers, artists and other staff of duel links.

That's the common problem with F2P games. Only a very small amount of players will invest money but those are usually going to spend very much money.
So, the developer has to implement enough stuff to keep those players busy and still try to convince F2P players to invest a few dollars just to try it out. And honestly, this game is doing a great job in both categories.
Rich kids will always spend money, no doubt about that. Japanese kids are known of their craziness that they don't mind spending thousand of dollars just to get 3 copies of prismatic EX Structure Deck cards. The problem is Konami's way to milk money from F2P community by making top tier deck depends too much on EX Structure Deck
Once you spend money, it's hard not to keep your account viable against the next meta by spending another money. Konami did a great job at implementing this way to many F2P players' mind
Yeah whatever..in other P2W games..you can break the game once u invest more than $10000
But this game..you can break it with couple dollars..
without free player..what value does p2W player have?
Everyone agrees that Konami has made Duel Links as a quality. They will still have many die-hard fans spending money every month without random people advertising this game. But this random people will always exist and keep doing their stuffs. Not for Konami but for their own benefit, because people spending money is their discord's target
