I'll just say it, this world sucks so much, you can't make a years worth of content from a two hour movie, where exactly three people duel. not to mention how terrible most of the rewards are, and only some of them are even relevant to the world.

Here is an idea: they might have made this because there may be a plan to make a sequel. So a DSOD world will be a hub for lots of future material.

I fully believe a sequel is plausable.

Also, there is absolutely no way something horrible is not going to happen with Seto Kaiba dimension-hopping with the Cube just to duel Atem. Not saying it would be his fault, but having an artifact that powerful definitely puts a target on your head.
