And yet it manages to be a better event than the Bakura events. Essentially all their SR cards are useful in some way---Labyrinth Wall was used to deck out Mokuba lvl 40, Extra Gate is good if you can figure out what type of deck the enemy uses (So if you see an extra deck spot and the enemy plays B-Eyes, guess 12 and you'll probably be right.), though that's probably the worst one. Dimension Gate was a 3-of staple at Worlds. Damage Gate can SUMMON RELINQUISHED, and can Combo with Golden Apples. DNA Checkup actually gives you better odds of drawing cards than Cup of Ace, assuming your opponent doesn't know your type of deck. Finally, I don't get why people don't like Destruct Potion. You can combo it with Vanguard of the Dragon to not only gain life points, but bring back a Blue-Eyes from the grave. Now the regular rares can be awful, like Summon Gate. I have never seen ANYONE pull off three special summons from the extra deck in one turn. The best part about Summon Gate is the hilarious artwork. Just look. They made thousand-eyes cry ;-;. Basically, this event isn't near as bad as people say it is. I only which Archfiend Palabyrinth was a drop again, instead of just a level up reward.
labyrinth wall is a bad card on its own, people only use labyrinth builder, the skill. dimension gate is the only drop card from the parabros that sees any kind of play, and even that hasnt been very popular since the qualifiers
Reason why all my dragon decks carry Buster Blader's Fusion and Paladin on top BEUD. One to counter other dragon decks, the other just to make my opponent regret sending Ultimate to the grave.
Point taken, but you know, not everything has to be meta relevant. Some of it can just be fun stuff. Weevil's Drop ability Moth to the Flame, and the fact he drops the Great Moths prove that you can be terrible, yet simultaneously hilarious.
