Eh, just had defeated him, by using cyberdarks and extra card(got mirror force, but get destroyed by diplo next turn), but still, destroyed him In one try at lv100
He did that to me as well. I set one monster (it was all I could do) and ended turn.
He destroyed my set monster with a card effect and had these same monsters on his field as well. I was still impressed haha I did beat him so many times so no worries anyway.
He has an exclusive UR card as reward. If you get at least one, then you can just skip him as you may ending up spending more fossils if you can't beat him within 3 duels.
The other 2 can be gotten by the EX trader and just getting event points.
