I thought this deck was OP because a Vagabond OTK'd me with this deck, but every time I see this in PvP I just win like it's nothing. How did people get KoG with this deck? It's just using spell cards in a huge loop without achieving anything just to get destroyed because you just put a 500 atk monster on the field with a single quick play spell.

That's because you probably played against inexperienced players trying to play the deck. This deck is one of the hardest to pilot, let alone win consistently. And yes, it is quite capable of OTK or Reaper+DMoC openings if used properly.

FYI, this deck got the 3rd/4th place in the most recent MCS

Maybe with a grass version that has a good opening draw and good grass rng.

It can take time to get to a build up where you can become dangerous with spellbook.

You may have won before they got to that point.
