This is getting limited to 2 soon just think about it: very strong, the best of the discard bunch, they made it a SR when it could have been UR easily, it is on a minibox when this is mainbox material, why?
I'm getting bad vibes from this card I won't dig for more than 2 copies
1. It is a trap.
2. It has a discard cost (basically it is 2 for 1).
3. It targets
4. It hits only face up monsters.
No this card will never get limited. It is just a good trap that soon will be either replaced by a better trap or fade from use when the meta shift once again to a less backrow heavy format. We had a similar situation with raigeki break before a year. Were is raigeki break now?
1-so you disrupt your opponent during their turn (why do you even mention this? Don't you see which meta we are in?)
2-discard is no longer a cost, ask shiranui, blue eyes or any deck with lots of draw power like karakuri.
3-so do fiendish, canadia and most monster effects
4-why would you want to use it on a face down card? To avoid a man eater bug? Maybe on rookie 1.
where's raigeki? I don't know maybe in that deck that has been meta since forever....shiranui I think it is called oh and also on blue yes or any deck that wants stuff in the gy.
When karma cut came out it replaced raigeki break in almost every meta deck. Thats is what gonna happen to karma cut once the new X trap will be released.
Did you really compared this card to Raigeki? Are you rookie rank? This card can shutdown most decks that have cards with similar names in the gy. Banishing is too strong, Raigeki is only good to remove backrow ans thats it. Karma Cut is insane, as a Blue Eyes and DM player, getting Karma Cut on my Blue eyes/DM and seeing all cards getting banishes is just an insta loss.
