Giving up your normal summon + giving a free lvl 6 monster (that can be easily ranked into bounzer or ptolemy) in exchange of getting rid of a floodgate seems like a bad deal for me, I'd rather use vortex or fissure

Now if someday an immune to destruction floodgate monster appears well yeah this will be useful
