Dark Cavalry

If you activate 2 target cards, does that chain link block Dark Cavalry? For example Enemy Controller and Karma Cut? Is it even possible to make Dark Cavalry miss timing for the negation? Since it's "conditional"?
Anoymous
Yes, it works. Use 2 raigeki break on him. Even if he has 3 cards to discard you first raigeki will be protected by the second chain link.

Anoymous
nope its doesnt work like that, cavalry will still negate that

But the effect is not mandatory, like Spirit dragon when summoned. It should be chain link blockable with 2 raigeki break

I'm also interested in the answer. How do you chain link block against Dark Cavalry?

I'm a beginner from another card game.

Anoymous
well, for example in DM deck,if you have rod in the graveyard and you active circle effect it will prompt you to target your opponent, but before its resolve rod will ask you to chain first as chain link 2 before cavalry, because rod's effect says "if you active spell/trap or effect"

What about the other decks like lets says Red-eyes, Blue-Eyes, lightsworn, or other generic options that could be used to do this in all and any deck?
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Im affraid not, not any deck has chain blocking combo, I only know DM deck and lunalight deck (by sending fox & marteen, or fox & bird to GY together)

So basically Konami introduced a mechanism to bypass the invincible Dark Cavalry and made it available only to their own personal favourite DM, and then Lunalight because their waifu are cat girls.
Nice job.

Subterror can do it too
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Yes, there are only those three that can do it. No other decks can. Which is why Dark Cavalry is an auto win vs many decks that weren't built for untargettable.
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Shiranui can also do it with ease
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Relax he was responding to your statement that no other decks could respond to dark cavalry's target effect. Shiranui can - squiresaga can banish a synchro monster to non target destroy dark cavalry and sunsaga can use it's summoning effect to destroy dark cavalry as well.

..
"Which is why Dark Cavalry is an auto win vs many decks that weren't built for untargettable." no its not.shiranui for eg get over it with shogun and sunsaga.i have experience and its not auto win against many decks.eg:lots of targetings in a turn.

Usually, BE decks cannot even summon their own monsters without relying on targeting with Sage, Master Maiden, etc.

But you may still be able to negate Dark Cavalry with a Chain Link Blocked Solid Dragon.
Use Kidmodo and Keeper of the Shrine.
Someone detailed the combo somewhere.
Anoymous
Lunalight can do so, fuse any monster selecting crimson fox first; once the materials go to the gy fox triggers first them immediately emerald or marten leaving dark cavalry no chance to negate fox targeting

Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon can negate chain block Dark Cavalry? Really?

How do you chain Kidmodo Dragon and Keeper Of The Shrine to Chain Block Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon then?
Can someone please explain?

I have been looking for a way to an already summoned Dark Cavalry but I can't even summon a single dragon because sage gets negated.

I really need to know, thanks.

There are some white cards called synchros. I have heard people use them to deal with touhhosters like dark cavarly. You should try them.

There is no Blue-Eyes Synchro monster that can beat Dark Cavalry.

I'm beginner and I play only Blue-Eyes decks because of my childhood memories.

Please, I need help to beat dark Cavalry that has 5 cards to discard for negation using Blue-Eyes deck.
Give me the name of cards needed for such combo.
Anoymous
The question seems to be really old but you can easily get rid off Dark Cavalry with non-targeting removals or summon something with higher ATK.

Hi,
Finally an answer. Thanks, but I play Blue-Eyes deck. I must absolutely target to even summon a high-attack monster with Sage/Master. I didn't find many F2P non-targeting removal that works well with Blue-Eyes.

Can you list them please?

Also, someone talked about Chain-Block with Kidmodo Dragon + Keeper of the Shrine when You summon BE SOLID D.
How does it Chain-Block Cavalry?

Anoymous
True. People can be helpful without being toxic at the same time.

Lava Golem is always an option to get rid off otherwise undestructable monsters. And it's 100% F2P. However, you won't be able to normal summon that turn.

As a F2P, you should consider at some point to invest some of your gems for staples. Maybe you already have something like Drowning Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison, Wall of Disruption or Herald of the Abyss?

You might also consider to boost your monster's ATK with non-targeting effects. Or decrease the opponent's monsters ATK with non-targeting effects. Just filter your cards by that criterion and you might find something.

Another possibility: Change the battle position of it: Earthquake can do it but Curse of the Anubis is probably better. Windstorm of Etaqua is also an F2P option.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions.
I can never use Herald of the Abyss because the turn Cavalry is summoned it already lowered my LP below 1500 with piercing attack.
Drowning Mirror Force, Wall of Disruption are negated/destroyed if they have 2+ monsters. Or he attacks with 1 monster on field. Wall of D doesn't help if I can't target with sage to summon a big monster.
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Yes, I thought of boosting/decrease attack or Change the battle position.
But I can't take advantage of that if my strongest monster on the field is a level 1 tuner.
If I let White Stone of Ancients get destroyed by battle to summon a BE the piercing damage will end the game before the end phase.

Maybe it would be better if you share your deck, including the skill you use. But sadly, Blue-Eyes isn't a deck that can have an answer to anything. If you change the deck just to beat this card, it might hurt the consistency or it might be weaker against other decks.

Obviously, the best way to counter Dark Cavalry is to disrupt the opponent's play so that they can't summon it at all.

Doesn't Speedroid Rubberband Plane serve as a Chain Block for BE SOLID dragon ?
It could allow Solid to bypass protection from Lunalight fox, Dark Cavalry, SHS, etc..
<< Anonymous
Anoymous
Tested and it works.
Speedroid Rubberband Plane is the new generic counter to Dark Cavalry.

Beware my generic F2P chain block combo that works in every and all decks!

Obviously, they are another issue. But they don't stop you from summoning your own monster with a Sage with Eyes of Blue, contrary to Cavalry.

Speedroid Rubberband Plane will be the new f2p hand trap that will get banned if enough people keep chain-blocking P2W Dark Cavalry.
