Dark Necrofear's effect only goes into effect in the end phase of the turn that it was destroyed and sent to the graveyard. By the time the turn ends, Quintet Magician would have already attack directly ending the game. But there is another card that might just work. "Chthonian Polymer" allows you to tribute one monster to take control of a fusion monster your opponent just summoned.
From what I understand, the main difficulty with World Armor is to tribute summon it. Dwarf Dragon can easily search it, no issue. Normal summoning this guy however is hard.
I think setting it would be better, its quick effect is still valid face-down, and your opponent doesn't know what card was set.
Chthonian Polymer is too situational. Today I didn't meet a single fusion user.
I agree. I see more synchros than fusions, but the option is still there for people who may not have a lot of good cards to fight against it. Even though you may see it in 1/10 duels. Believe it or not, most of the time I'm matched up with people using a "grave keeper deck" and I always assume they will have Quintet.
As for World Armor, I'm going to try to get the card, but it might be a while because I have no gems lol. The most viable option that I can see is to use World Armor in a Desperado deck…Which I so happen to use as my main. Since World Armor is a Dark Machine type monster, it actually fits in well with the synergy of the deck.
XD
A Shirainui player rage quit against my blue-eyes-red-eyes-felgran deck. Because I had 30 cards and I mild my deck slower than him, I think he had like 1 or 2 useless Grass.
For the World Armor, I think you can use Superheavy S. Big Waraji for easy tribute summon. The guy also S. summon itself.
Hooo,
I may try desperado with World Armor too then. With Big Waraji also.
I already have the World Armor but not those other cards.
I guess it's time to farm.
What if instead you chain a trap card that banishes the grave ?
When you see magicalize fusion selects the fusion materials you can banish those exact materials before they get used.
This way the fusion will miss target the selected materials.
Even if they have 20 monsters to use, miss targetting will stop the fusion summon.
If you use a banishing effect after they use Magicalized Fusion, Magicalized Fusion doesn't go off. The main problem, however, is banishing cards overall aren't that good.
