That post was made 3 Years ago, the TCG meta has changed a lot in 3 years. Plus this guy constantly brings up irrelevant decks (And those Decks were also irrelevant in 2013/2014). The reason it was banned is simple, so they could hit HEROs without having to touch newer and more Broken Product.
Because this card's like a super mega ultra Gadget that fits in literally any deck whatsoever, thanks to its ability to search itself. If it had "except Elemental HERO Stratos" added to that effect, it would've been completely unlimited.
