No, I don't think so. You require your opponent to do something to be able to summon it so kinda slow. SM/SW float into bigger monsters so you can say they have some "protection", wisel doesn't.
But anyways to be fair the game now is about spamming traps people barely use spells that are not backrow hate nowadays (NK equips still float so negation isn't that good in this case)
Hmm I can't think of an scenario where you want to go -1 or -2 to summon a low atk monster with no protection......maybe with TTH but why to go neutral when you may as well go +1 getting rid of 2 of your opponent's monsters
