Hi guys I'm new in the game but is this really the Silent Swordsman from the anime ... he gains 500 atk at the start of each turn and he got hit twice with the same spell card vs BAKURA so who said he's not affected by spells and nothing was related to a direct atk to lvl up A little help here to understand this game >_<

You'll be dissapointed alot if you compare actual TCG effect with anime effect.

well I want the anime version because I love the anime and I play this game which should reflect the cards and events in the anime ... also the anime version atk reaches 4k,4.5k but this card has a fixed atk pts and it negates my own spell effects as well

I think you confused silent swordsman and silent magician. Silent magician get boosted 500 atk per turn (enemy draw)

Silent Magician gains 500 atk per card drawn by your opponent that's why when Yugi used Cards of Sanctity and Atem draw 5 cards she gained 2500atk, Silent Swordsman gains 500 atk at the beginning of each of your turns ... that's why when Yugi used this clock-like spell card to skip turns it grew 2-3 lvls (I don't remember exactly)

Long story short, this card is supposed to be a balanced version of it for the card game.

Not all anime cards will be released in the actual game with same effects.

Same goes for Silent Magician and the Egyptian God
