I have a question regarding nemesis warrior and Red-Eyes Slash Dragon. How is it possible that nemesis warrior could chain to the behemoths' effects and slash can't respond? How do chain links even work like that because if your opponent can activate effects then you should be able to respond and they shouldn't be able to chain to their own their effect. What kind of ruling is this? I need to know.
All I know is that nemesis warrior is chained immediately after a subterror monster is flip-summoned. So RESD can't respond because the last thing that happened is that nemesis warrior's effect is activated on graveyard.
It's quite simple: Subterror Nemesis Warrior's effect and the effect of your "Subterror Behemoth" monster are simultaneous, but Duel Links doesn't let you decide which one activates first. Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect has to be chained to the effect you want to negate, but Nemesis Warrior's effect gets in the way (literally).
In the TCG, you would be the one putting these effects in order, but here we are not able to. Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect will Always miss the timing in this situation.
IT is about chaining order. Nemesis active by the times behemoth flipped, which mean the last thing you can negate is nemesis ( at least in duel link ). I haven't try counter trap tho.
