This is frequently used in ranked now. The effect is basically dark core but why no one plays dark core. Dark core is spell so it can be activated faster. The cost also the same discarding 1 card.
That doesn't make it bad.. Traps/Quick Play Spells are more likely to be hit by back row removal. They are situationally better, that disrupt your opponent during their turn. Given that they don't target your set cards before you get to activate them. Dark Core works better during your turn, just learn how to use it.
Seriously the only time i find this better than karma cut is in valkyrie deck since they can somehow search it. But Then again they have their own card that almost works exactly as dark core
Exactly. Just as you said,Dark Core is also useful in Valkyrie deck. The best way to use Dark Core in Valkyrie deck is to replace it with Valkyrie's Embrace because Dritte can search it.
