I already said that the game can't be skill based when the duel comes down to starting hand match ups 95% of the time and games end in 5ish turns. I'm literally just asking for a single reasonable response. Yet every single answer I get just gives a complete non-answer and just says irrelevant 🔥. Just use your keyboard and this textbox to provide a reasonable answer and elaborate.

Using your deck and reading your opponent does take "skill" but how much skill does it actually take? Should I activate Red Eyes Insight? Should I activate Red Eyes Spirit? There's hardly ever a decision to be made in this game. Plays are obvious in 99% of scenarios and the large majority of decks can be played on auto-pilot. I'd argue reading your opponent doesn't take much skill either when their plays are usually very obvious or you simply can't do anything about it even if you know what they're going to do. TY for giving an actual answer tho, even if I disagree!

Bro the decks people post here help a lot of people reach KOG & it helped me reach it today but yes it took long and some luck and a little skill but it was hard work at least for me. So instead of hating start taking these ideas and building you're own deck to get to KOG.

Bro, building a deck is a long journey, you need to choose what deck you can build that can reached KoG using gems and card pool that you have,not all people have insight or spirit or another meta card or a lot of gems. this is a big decision that affected an actual duel. And in fast paced duel, even simplest decision like activate a card or not can cost you win or lose.

To reached KoG you must duel - to duel you need a deck - you need card to build a deck. So deck building is needed to reached KoG.

No matter what the connclusion. it's required hard work to reached KoG. People proud of that and posting their deck here, what so wrong with that ? And decks that listed here help other people to reached KoG.

It doesn't require hard work. Use a meta deck that someone else created for 100+ wins = gg.
And posting a deck that has 19/20 cards in common with decks that already have been posted 10+ times is useless.

Then everyone who uses meta decks should have reached kog by now. You will see a bunch of redeyes/ phoenix players in plat while some sits in kog. If you don't know how to use the deck at its full potential then you'll never reach kog.

I agree that it has a lot to do with luck. when you get so many decks that can OTK in the second turn, it is pretty much luck. To get KOG, you just need a good win streak and hope you out luck your opponent. Pretty much A lot of common cards you will face, econ, MW, sphere. You need to out luck your opponent to win. Some times i get 9 win streak, sometimes i lose 5 in a row, all with the same deck
