Something weird happen today. I fusion summon Slash dragon and attacked my opponent. I equip the first warrior on him and my opponent activates a Wall of Disruption. My Slash dragon is destroyed because its attack is lower, but the warrior equip to it is not special summoned. Is this normal ? Does it not count when your Slash dragon is destroyed when "you" are the one who declared the attack ?

So, you mean in my case it counted as being destroyed before the warrior was equipped ?

That's weird, I thought it went like this, first equip a monster, then damage calculation with +200 for equipped monster, lastly destruction based on monster stats.

Did I miss something here ?

The second last sentence is "if this card is destroyed by battle or card effect".

And my Slash Dragon was destroyed by battle.

So it should work.
