OtC cannot be negated by the likes of Big Shield Gardna due to the fact that Big Shield Gardna's effect only triggers when it is targeted as a cost during activation. Since it wasn't a cost and the cost of OtC is to target your own monster, Big Shield Gardna cannot be activated

I always actually referring to adults, it's understandable coming from kids and I expect (somewhat) such behavior from them, the adult community on the other hand should be setting an example but no such (or at least not much) luck but I digress idiots are just best ignored.
