Very useful indeed.
I use a trap like Divine Wrath or Canadia to protect my monsters for 1 turn. Then my opponent gets her back on the field anyway.
Additionally, Divine Wrath and Canadia are big P2W UR and the R cards you mentioned can only be obtained from old boxes filled with very deck specific cards. Making you spend 9000 gems to use 3 cards.
^Your definition of F2P and P2W is not realistic.
F2P who manage their resources well would not spend their gems on every single box, but only boxes that would bring victories.
In fact, many F2P players can have 3 copies of Floodgate, Canadia etc, especially if they have been playing for a long time.
True definition of P2W is everything locked behind paywall, for example 3 copies of Neos Fusion.
^True. Last time i face lava golem that so called "f2p deck" with 3 floodgate. There are some players who actually put effort by using good trap rather than complaining the trap card itself.
