No way in hell. Monster removal is the key to winning with this deck, so now you make players choose between monster removal and special summoning. Sylvans are dead :(

It's funny how sylvans cry about nerf even though they still can remove all backrow and summon full field of lv 5+ in one turn. They also have unexplored potential with using backrow and making hybrid deck. But nope, deck dead becuz can't remove monsters and special summon in same time. Need think now lol.

It will probably not be dead yet.

There is still sylvan lotuswain to recycle cards back into the deck for example for re-use.

You can make a choice between rose or marshall or put 1 of both.

Also you can still 🔥 other monsters with your high attack monsters. Its not like marshall is the only way to kill.

It will require lot more thought now though than before nerfs.

The high attack monsters are now not immune to Traps though. They now run the risk of getting slapped by Floodgate or Wall of Disruption, if they fail to excavate Komushroomo.

And we're getting Debunk soon apparently, which can be used to counter Komushroomo.
