I like Zane, but it doesn't help that they leave too much to the imagination with him. His appearances were more scattered after season one. Would have been nice to see more of his dueling career. He also doesn't exactly win brother of the year award. Syrus- has a few wins, spends season 3 doing absolutely nothing, and then becomes a super duelist? Not believable.

We knew Zane was strong, but we never felt that he was strong after he graduated. I think the writers didn't know how to write him so they kinda gave up thus why his development was so clunky.

They never really even explained just why his relationship with Syrus was so strained. Even before Hell Kaiser, they barely even talked. And just where is the rest of their family? Parents? Where were a lot of the characters' families?

Bonaparte and his son - Replace them with any two characters that have a parent-son/daughter relationship and it'll work just fine. They're both disposable characters

Blair- Fun, but not very different from the standard anime girl having a crush. Yubel- Missed opportunity in season 4! Needed more scenes working together with Judai like the final duel. Sartorius- Mix of brother/father figure to Edo, but they both pretend that they don't even know each other in season 4

Axel- One of the better characters that was not in a lot of episodes. Jim- I think he is cool, but the idea of him wanting to go so far to help Jaden just because he said that the crocodile was his friend too seems a little too farfetched.

And finally, Jesse- Cool guy, but we don't know a whole lot about this guy. How am I supposed to believe that he is one of the best duelists when some of his duels were not finished? And Zane considers him to be one of his greatest rivals, but not Aster, the one who actually defeated him!? Get your rivals straight, Zane!

Jesse appeared out of nowhere with over the top plot armour and some random spirit settings. It just doesn't feel right, the character felt forced.

Hey, moron who has never watched all of GX. Aster ain't no cheerleader. Know how he has own penthouse apartment, private yacht, and tons of cash to donate to orphans? By defeating a LOT of other duelists around the world (including the world champion) on a regular basis for $$$. He also has tons of people calling his agency every morning to ask for him to appear on TV shows.

Oh, and there is a big long conversation about GX right above us with about 5 or responses to me. We'll continue to get more GX. Just as DM continued to get new content and cards after GX was added. Next event after Yubel is likely a 5Ds event probably a Crow event with him not being unlockable. Then after that will probably be Yubel 2 or Atticus (Nightshroud) event. The later likely being based off of his Duels Against Zane and Jaden in season 4.

GX supposed for 5 years old kid. All their characters are really silly not just designs but also personality. Especially Zane this guy supposed to be GX Kaiba, but he goes crazy just because he lose to a elementary school student, pathetic Kaiba and Jack would punch him in the face if they know about it

Chill dude... 1) what does make you think Kaiba is an antogonist in these series? lol, He ISN'T. 2) GX is cool but it's been censored/modified like crazy, you will find the most canon version in the manga.

1) Pretty sure Kaiba kind of is an antogonist considering his one goal is to undermine the protagonist which is Yugi, He does this by first stealing then hospitalizing Yugis grandfather, tried to invent a new way to play so as to have an advantage over Yugi, emotionally manipulated Yugi into surrendering, and then he began bullying Joe to lash out at Yugi. 2) So was everything else by 4kids

haha, you forget Kaiba is a guy that suffers from Anger, and anger occasioned by his father Gozaburo and it's clearly mentioned Kaiba wasn't that way when Mokuba and him were little kids. Kaiba helped Yuugi to defeat Marik at Duel tower, and when Yuugi had to return to his current lifetime, Yuugi left Kaiba (Seto) on charge of his kingdom as a proof of his trust in him.
